Compass Program

For Caregivers

COMPASS encourages caregivers to balance their own well-being with the challenges of caregiving. The nine-module program is facilitated by a trained volunteer, someone who understands how difficult caregiving can be.  

 

Sessions Include:

 

  • The Emotional Journey.

  • Putting Yourself First.

  • Navigating the System.

  • Assertiveness and Sharing the Care.

  • Caregiver Burnout.

  • Planning for the Journey Ahead.

 

 

Small groups meets weekly for 8 weeks and on then come back together and reconnect.  Workshops are held twice a year, spring and fall and require pre-registration.  There is no cost to participate.
