Rimbey Community Home Help Services is an Alberta Health Services contracted service provider that provides personal care to clients in Rimbey, the west half of Ponoka County, the communities of Alder Flats, Buck Lake, Winfield, Breton and surrounding areas.

We are seeking assistance in our Personal Care program for the summer vacation season and the position could lead beyond this term. A Health Care Aide certificate or previous experience is an asset.

We are recruiting a Summer Student for the summer months (June to August) to support health and wellness initiatives through program assistance, coordination, and general administrative support. This position is designed as a meaningful learning opportunity for a Summer Student interested in community programs and social services. The student will support administrative tasks related to FCSS, health care initiatives, and Food Bank operations. Over the course of the summer, the student will also plan and carry out a project aligned with program needs, gaining practical experience in project planning, teamwork, and community engagement. As part of program support and outreach, the student may also assist with activities that involve operating the golf cart and the Rimshaw trishaw, following all training and safety guidelines
Job Requirements:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps and services

Valid driver’s license with less than 6 demerits, reliable vehicle and provide proof of insurance upon hire

Current vulnerable sector/criminal record check

Preference will be given to those with post-secondary education in social work, childcare, education or a related discipline
