Meals on Wheels

THE GOAL

Meals on Wheels is designed to improve the nutritional status of the individuals receiving the service

​THE BENEFITS

​

  • Serves to assist convalescents upon discharge from hospital.

  • Serves to provide social contact for people living at home.

  • Serves to allow individuals with disabilities & the elderly to maintain their independence as long as possible.

  • May provide a check-up service on the well-being of the recipient.

Meals are delivered Monday through Friday, even on holidays, and are prepared at Rimbey Valley View Manor. You get a hot, full-course meal delivered right to your door at noon by our wonderful volunteers. All this comes at a minimal set cost per meal.
